Carnival time

Oh boy, Oh boy! The carnival is in town. Maybe not so big and well organized as the Rio de Janeiro carnival, still Puntarenas' carnival is a great event in this town. The porteños, the Puntarenas people in spanish, are crazy for this festivity. Every year in february, the Carnival takes place, this year, from february 1st to 10th. 

In the picture above you can see what happened during this year concert of the Cafres band, a well known band in Latin america. the party was huge, as usual, the people in Costa Rica don't need any reasons to party, they do it all the time! As a matter of fact, costaricans love to party ans they do it well. If you have the chance to visit this fest, then don't doubt it! You won't regret it, guaranteed!
